Dodge City – Jose Claudio Neave-Vega, 54, died October 11, 2024 at his home in Dodge City.  He was born on February 14, 1970 at Luis Moya Nieves, Mexico the son of Gustavo Neave-Hernandez and Maria DeRefugio Vega-Morales.

He married Norma Condarco on September 11, 1996 in Dodge City, she survives. Jose loved to go gold digging, mowing his yard, grilling outside, working on any type of engine and going to the casino ie"WalMart". The thing he cherished most was getting to spend time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Norma Neave of the home; two daughters LeAnne Garcia and husband Jose Luis Garcia of Amarillo, Texas; Brittney Nicole Neave and husband Alan Solozano of Cimarron; three sons Adan Alonzo Hernandez of Dodge City; Jose Claudio Neave Jr. and wife Evelyn Arias of Dodge City; Aaron Gustavo Neave of Cimarron, his grandchildren Ambri Madariaga and husband Korey Wesley, Ivan Condarco, Arianna Perez, Alexa Perez, Amiyah "Rain" Hernandez, Apollo Alonzo Hernandez, Isaiah Ayden Neave, Leonardo Mendoza, Lorena Mendoza, Cesar Mendoza, Oliver Solorzano and his great grandchildren Nilani Wesley and Kamari Wesley. He is also survived by four brothers Agustin Neave, Efren Neave, Mariano Neave, Trinidad Neave and three sisters Elida Rodriguez, Maria DeRefugia, Lucia Neave and his fur babies Golondrino Diesel Conner.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Friday October 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM with Haydee Torres presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel   on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Vigil service will take place at 7:00 PM Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Swaim Funeral Chapel.
