Copeland - Joyce Ernesteen Reynolds, 87, died November 22, 2020 at the Satanta Long Term Care Unit.  She was born on October 2, 1933 in Fowler, the daughter of Ernest and Barbara (Bishop) Tyler.

As a young child, Joyce moved to Copeland with her family.  Joyce was a 1951 graduate of Copeland High School.  On June 9, 1951, Joyce was united in marriage to Jerry Lee (J.R.) Reynolds in Copeland. They celebrated 65 years of marriage. Together, they raised three children, James, Terri, and Jerry Ray.  After her children were older, Joyce went to Cosmetology school in Dodge City.  She owned and operated the Hair Affair in Copeland for 38 years before retiring.  In 2018, Joyce moved to the Satanta Long Term Care Unit.  Joyce enjoyed cooking, sewing, bird watching, and collecting bird houses.  She also like working in her yard and tending to her flowers.

Joyce is survived by three children, James (Jim) Reynolds and wife Thresa of Copeland; Terri Love and fiancé Don Elvers of Copeland, and Jerry Ray Reynolds of Salina; three grandchildren, Denna Gonzalez and husband Isac of Dodge City; Chelsea May of Wichita, and Chance Love of Spring Hill; six great grandchildren, Aubrianna, Easton, and Brynlee Gonzalez of Dodge City, Seth May of Wichita; Kayden Reynolds of Dodge City, and Tyler Rose Reynolds of Grover, Colorado; sister-in-law, Jacque Tyler of Yuma, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband, JR; her parents; a grandson, Tyler Reynolds; and three brothers, Ron, Fred, and Jon Tyler.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Copeland Cemetery.  There is no visitation as cremation has taken place.
