Juana Montes, 86, passed away on April 28, 2024, at her home in Dodge City. She was born on February 4, 1938, in Chihuahua, Mexico, the daughter of Margarita Arciniega.

Juana was full of life and humor. Her smile stayed with her even in her last moments. She will be cherished and remembered by a great many family members, along with precious memories and a type of humor that was only hers.

She attended the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Dodge City.

Juana is survived by her children, Elisa A. Montes, Maria A. Diaz, Marco A. Montes, Adam M. Montes, Daniel A. Montes, Jesus M. Montes, and Roberto C. Montes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Manuel Montes.

Per her wishes, there will be no public services, and the family will have a private gathering in Colorado at a later date. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book.
