Dodge City - Juanita Mai Wells, 94, died December 21, 2022 at her home in Dodge City, Kansas.  She was born on April 7, 1928 in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Henry and Wilhelmina (Seith) Loibl.

She was a homemaker for many years, raising 10 children and later cleaned houses and offices.  She married Harold Wells on April 17, 1949. He preceded her in death on August 21, 2000.

She attended Central Christian Church. She loved puppies and to sew and crochet as well as spending time at the farm. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.

Juanita is survived by her children: Judy Underwood (Dale) of Deming, NM, Becky Martinez (Michael) of Wichita, KS, Glenn Wells (Cyndee) of Renton, WA, Yvonne Dalton of Woodland, WA, Laura Compton (Kelly) of Brigham City, UT, Lisa Wells of Centerville, UT, Scott Wells (Keely) of Los Lunas, NM, Kim Martin (Ted) of Minneapolis, KS, and Steven Wells (Faye) of Dodge City, KS; 24 grandchildren, Kyle, Shane, Brett, Miranda, Jason, Jacob, Adam, Daniel, Stephen, Michael, Paul, Jeff, Sarah, Tiffany, Micah, Gideon, Ollie, Ramey, Porter, Gant, Crew, Landon, Adalynn, and Karma; and many great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, two children, Eric and Keith Wells, a brother, Mathias Loibl, and a grandson, Chase Compton.

Funeral service will be held at Dodge City Church of the Nazarene on Thursday, January  5, 2023 at 10:00 AM with Jeff Hiers presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City, Kansas.  There will be no visitation.
