Dodge City - Julia Rivera, 42, Died Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Western Plains Medical Complex of Dodge City. She was born on August 28, 1968 at Juarez, Mexico the daughter of Jose Rivera Robles and Ofelia Mimbela.
Julia was a member of Templo La Hermosa of Dodge City.
She is survived by a brother, Ignacio Rivera; a sister, Oralia Rivera; a niece, Yanet Mena; and two nephews, John and Jose Rivera all of Dodge City.
Funeral service will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Templo La Hermosa, 305 Wilroads Garden Rd., Dodge City with Pastors Aurelia and Robert Turrubiates officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City. There will be no visitation at the funeral home but the casket will be open at the church. Memorials are suggested to Julia Rivera Memorial Fund in care of Swaim Funeral Home of Dodge City. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the onlineguest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
