Montezuma - Marcele June (Bishop) Hendrickson,101, passed away September 11, 2023 at Bethel Home in Montezuma. Mrs. June Hendrickson and her twin sister were born in Mankato, Kansas on May 27, 1922 to Clyde Cassius and Hazel M Bishop.

They lived in Mankato until they moved to Ford.  After graduating school, she attended college and got a teaching certificate. She taught school for two years. June met the love of her life, Harry Leroy Hendrickson. They married February 16, 1944. Two sons and a daughter were born from this union. Harry and June were married for 51 years before his death in 1995.

She and Harry had many adventures in life. They lived in several places thru his Navy service, farming and other community affairs. She was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. Now, as she begins her heavenly adventures and is reunited with her love ones, she is free of pain and suffering.

June is survived by two sons, Roy Lee (Linda) Hendrickson of El Reno, Oklahoma and Marvin Dee (Debbie) Hendrickson of Garden Plains; one daughter, Janice Gay (Steve) Williams of Garden City; seven grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one brother, Wayne Bishop of Tampa, Florida; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Leroy Hendrickson; her parents, Clyde Cassius and Hazel M. Bishop; two brothers; and her twin sister.

Graveside memorial service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Tim Erikson presiding.
