SPEARVILLE - Kaleb Walker Knapp, 21, died September 9, 2014 at Spearville. He was born on June 11, 1993 in Dodge City the son of Michael Beaman and Shawna Foskuhl. He was later adopted by Deanna Knapp.
Kaleb attended elementary school in Dodge City and Johnson City, Kansas. He attended Spearville Middle School and was a 2012 graduate of Spearville High School, where he participated in football and baseball.
Kaleb loved hunting, fishing and restoring trucks and motorcycles. He was employed at Howell County Feeders.
He was a member of Dodge City Church of the Nazarene where he was baptized, and participated in the youth group.
Survivors include his mother, Deanna Knapp of Dodge City; two sisters, Mickashell and Jaden Knapp both of Dodge City; Grandparents, George and Nadean Mussemann; three aunts, Nancy Knapp, Billie Henderson and husband Mike, and Jana Moore and husband Dan; one uncle, Evan Mussemann and wife Peggy; one nephew, numerous cousins; biological mother, Shawna Foskuhl and biological grandparents, Jim and Jackie Foskuhl.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Beaman; grandfather, Walter Knapp; uncle, Jimmy Knapp and grandmother, Glenna Birzer.
Memorial service will be held at Dodge City Church of the Nazarene on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Michael Burns and Pastor Jason Goetz presiding. Friends may sign the book on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Kaleb Knapp Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
