IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Karon
Robins
February 7, 1941 – May 27, 2025
Dodge City - Karon Robins, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 27, 2025, at the age of 84. Born in rural Ford County on February 7, 1941, she was a cherished member of our family and community.
Karon was known for her warmth, generosity, strength and unwavering love. She dedicated her life to her family, always there with a listening ear and a warm embrace. Through her home daycare, she was able to care for hundreds of children in the community, often caring for the second generation in some families. Over the years, she found joy in ceramics, macrame, and flower arranging, but gardening and landscaping was a lifelong passion.
Karon is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Don, and their children, Niki Waldron and husband Chris and Jilinda Rodriguez, as well as her 12 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mildred Melia, her 2 sons, Alan Robins and Wesley Robins, 1 daughter, Kenda Robins, and 1 granddaughter, Gabriella Rodriguez.
