Dodge City - Katherina M. Morrison, 94, died November 13, 2018 at Manor of the Plains in Dodge City.  She was born on August 9, 1924 at Schwetzingen, Germany the daughter of  Wilhelm  and Margaret (Reinhard) Schmitt.

She married George Morrison Jr. on May 28, 1947 in Dodge City, he preceded her in death on January 9, 2007. Mrs. Morrison was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons John Morrison and wife Jody of Joshua, Texas; Richard Morrison and wife Sylvia of Weatherford, Texas; Tom Morrison and wife Elaine of Greeley, Colorado; one daughter Heidi Veesart and husband Mike of Douglas, Kansas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Susan Morrison and one son Robert Morrison.

Graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery on Friday November 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dick Robbins presiding. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM . Memorials are suggested to Manor of the Plains or Hospice of the Prairie in care of the funeral home.
