SPEARVILLE – Kathleen M. Knoeber, 61, died September 19, 2018 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City. She was born on October 31, 1956 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the daughter of Orville Bernard and Wanda Marie (Maurice) O'Brien.

Kathi married Mark Knoeber on August 27, 1982 in Kansas City, Missouri. She loved traveling, working in the garden, and spending time in the great outdoors. She also loved spending time with her family and friends.

Kathi is survived by her husband Mark of Parkville, Missouri; father Orville O'Brien of Kansas City, Missouri; and sister Judy O'Brien of Alpharetta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her mother Wanda O'Brien.

Funeral mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Spearville on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Rev. John Forkuoh presiding.  Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Spearville. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel in Dodge City on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with family greeting friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  In Lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Tour de Barbeque Grassy Knoll Gang for cancer research fund raiser in care of the funeral home.
