Larry Wallace Nestor, 78, died March 7, 2020 at Western Plains Medical Center in Dodge City.  He was born on October 27, 1941 at Parsons, West Virginia, the son of Eugene and Hazel (Miller) Nestor.

Larry grew up in Parsons, West Virginia. He later moved throughout the United States doing construction. Larry served in the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1964. During that time, he was stationed in Iceland, serving as a crew chief for one of the Air Force jets. In March of 1975, Larry  married Sandy Smith in Cimarron. He continued working construction in the Cimarron area and throughout Southwest Kansas for 30 years, retiring in 2007.

He enjoyed spending his spare time fishing, as well as with his family and friends.

Larry is survived by five sons, Larry D. Nestor and wife Jessica, Brad Nestor and wife Janice, Tony Nestor, Dale Nestor, and Eric Nestor; several grandchildren; and one sister. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandy; and one sister.
