Larry Max Thompson, 93, passed away on March 25, 2026, at the Hilltop House in Bucklin.He was born on January 26, 1933 in Bucklin, to Archie Thompson and Zeppie Carr.

Larry was a lifetime resident of Bucklin and graduate of Bucklin High School. He served in the US Marine Corp for 4 years. Larry was a carpenter and builder for many years. He loved spending time with family.

Larry is survived by Wife, Ivy Thompson of Bucklin; two step sons, Jeff Rouse and Karen of Medicine Lodge and Lance Rouse and Daniella of Dodge City; step-daughter, Terri Close of Bucklin; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; nephews, Eric Thompson and Shelby of Colorado and Bob Thompson of Florida; He was preceded in death by parents; brother, A, Lee Thompson; nephew, David Thompson and niece, Laura Thompson Raub.
