Lawrence Allen "Larry" Day, Jr, 65, passed away on July 23, 2026, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. He was born on January 3, 1961 in Perry, Oklahoma to Lawrence Allen Day, Sr and Joann "Jody" (McDermott) Switzer.

Ugh grew up in Dodge City and attended Ensign High School. He enlisted and served in the US Navy during his Senior Year of High School. Larry was a painter of feed trucks at Supreme International in Dodge City. He enjoyed traveling and collecting guns. Ugh loved his dog Boudica.

He is survived by his mother, Joann "Jody" Switzer of Dodge City; a sister, Rosy Marghtim; 4 nieces and nephews, and 9 great nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Day, Sr and a brother, Eddie Day.
