Leanne M. Dillon, 63, died August 3, 2022 at her home in Wichita. She was born on July 3, 1959 in Enid, Oklahoma to Clarence and Wilma Ruth (Hart) Rylant and later was adopted by James and Treva Burk of Kansas City.

Leanne later returned to Wichita where she completed her education. Leanne worked as a caregiver for much of her life. She was a very caring person who always looked out for her neighbors and friends.

Leanne is survived by her sisters, Ruth Pittser and Charles Miller of Mannford, Oklahoma, Mary Lou Kinder of Wichita, and Joyce Louise Burk of Geronimo, Oklahoma; a brother, Paul David Rylant of Geronimo; and special friend, Virgil Emerson of Larned. She is preceded in death by her birthparents; a daughter, Valerie Grubb; three sisters, Kathy Jo Koehn, Connie Adams, and Elizabeth; and a brother, Paul David Rylant.
