Obituary

Dodge City - Lee Mae Inlow, 88, died July 12, 2021 at Homestead of El Dorado.  She was born on May 5, 1933 in Ashland, the daughter of James William and Kitty Pearl (Kipp) Franks.

Lee Mae was raised in Clark County.  She attended schools in Minneola and Bloom.  On March 27, 1953, she was united in marriage to Vern Ray Inlow.  The couple lived in various places in Southwest Kansas where they raised their family of four children.  Lee Mae enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, gardening, spending time outdoors and caring for the numerous cats she rescued.

She is survived by three children, Carolyn Bisel and husband Darrell of El Dorado, Larry Inlow of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Katherine McClure and husband Jack of Omaha, Nebraska; two sisters, Rita Spradlin of Lawrence and Shirley Goodnight and husband Oley of Meade; seven grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.  Lee Mae is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vern; a son, Lonnie Inlow; and 13 siblings.

Graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Darrell Bisel presiding.  There is no visitation and the casket will remain closed.  Memorials are suggested to the First Nazarene Church of El Dorado in care of Swaim Funeral Chapel – 1901 Sixth Ave. – Dodge City, KS 67801.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
