Obituary

Dodge City - Lelah L. Waggoner, 77, died January 12, 2013 at Trinity Manor Nursing Home, Dodge City. She was born on October 21, 1935 at Dodge City, the daughter of William Carl and Leah Christine (Nufer) Harms. She grew up on the family farm in Hodgeman County and graduated from Dodge City High School.

Lelah worked for Western Power of Dodge City for several years and later worked at the Credit Union of Dodge City for 26 years. She enjoyed traveling with friends to many places.

She was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church and AMBUCS both of Dodge City.

Lelah is survived by a son Harold Waggoner, Dodge City; two daughters, Leanna Crotinger, Cimarron and Staci Henry, Salina; a sister DeLoris Boger, Jetmore; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Randall Jahnke presiding. Inurnment will follow at Greencrest Cemetery in Dodge City. Cremation has taken place and friends may sign the guest book at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M..
