Leonard Lee Drumm passed away July 21, 2026 at Halsey Hall at Fort Dodge. Leonard was born January 29, 1931 to Maybelle and Roy Drumm in Weskan, Kansas.

Leonard grew up in the western farming town of Weskan, where he, his family farmed and served the community with the family business. He attended Weskan High School, he excelled in basketball, baseball and track. Leonard graduated spring of 1949.

On June 20, 1953 Leonard married Bonnie Ardrey in Raton, New Mexico. The following year, Leonard joined the U.S. Army, and in July of 1956 he and Bonnie welcomed their first child, Leonard Drumm, Jr. After his service to his country, Leonard and family returned to the farm and were blessed with three additional children, John, Rhonda and Clara.

While farming Leonard joined the Wallace County Sheriff's Department. He also worked as a tractor mechanic. Due to health issues he sold the family farm and moved his family to the Liberal, Kansas area, beginning a working career for Tradewinds Industries. In 1976 Leonard and Bonnie relocated to the Woodward, Oklahoma area and began his final career with the state of Oklahoma, where he retired. Leonard and Bonnie also helped fifty plus kids as foster parents. In 1985 they adopted Jane Nancy, one of their former foster children.

Leonard is survived by his children Leonard (Lynn), Jr., John and wife Linda, Clara Spitzer, Jane Nancy and husband Gray McComb. He has 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by, Bonnie, his wife of 62 years; daughter, Rhonda Kay Drumm; daughter-in-law, Jeri Drumm; and son-in-law, Randy "Stretch" Spitzer.
