Cimarron - Leyton Neil Brown, 43, died October 14, 2013 at The Shepherd's Center, Cimarron. He was born on November 12, 1969 in Garden City, the son of Mark G. and Nancy (Woodward) Brown.

Leyton was raised on the family farm north of Cimarron. He attended school in both Garden City and Cimarron. Leyton worked at various jobs in Cimarron and the surrounding communities. He had been a resident of The Shepherd's Center of Cimarron for the past 16 years due to health reasons. Leyton enjoyed hunting, fishing, and horse racing.

Leyton is survived by his mother, Nancy Brown of Cimarron; one brother, Leland Brown of Cimarron; two sisters, Dianne Paris of Lenexa and Pamela Barton of Arapahoe, Oklahoma; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Robert and Gladys Brown, Thelma and Holly Brown, and Vernon and Betty Woodward.

Graveside memorial service will be held at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
