IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda D.
Koch
November 19, 1942 – September 5, 2021
Linda D. Koch (West), age 78 passed away peacefully at home in Naples, Florida on September 5, 2021. Linda was born in Dodge City, Kansas on November 19, 1942, the daughter of the late Emerson C. and RoseMary (Williams) West.
After graduation, she married her sweetheart Hugh R. (Bud) Koch in 1960 and shortly after, moved to Texas where they lived until three years ago before moving to Naples, Florida to be closer to their daughter and son-n-law.
Linda was so much to so many. A daughter, a sister to the late Emerson E. West (EE), a daughter-n-law, a loving mother-n-law, a "Gramms" to the dogs, a friend, a nurse, a Realtor, but most of all, she had the greatest titles of being a "loving Wife" (of almost 61 years) and a "loving Mom". She was a long time realtor, owning Elkins Lake Real Estate in Huntsville, Texas where they lived for many years and owning STR Properties in Arroyo City, Texas where she lived with her husband for approximately 30 years. Linda will always be remembered as the peacemaker, the one who loved everyone and everyone loved her, the snazzy and on trend dresser and of course that big bright beautiful smile. Her family will also remember her as the awesome cook, the one that held everything together and the love that she had for her family and friends.
She was a long time member of the First Christian Church of Dodge City.
Linda is survived by her husband Bud Koch, her daughter and son-n-law Kenda and Dale Primeaux (Marco Island, Florida) and son and daughter-n-law, Derek and Lynn Koch (Smyrna, Tennessee).
You'll FOREVER be in our hearts and will be our angel in heaven guiding us. We LOVE YOU with every ounce of our being! We WILL see you again!
A Memorial gathering will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 15, 2022. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guestbook at www.swaimfuneralchapel.com.
Psalms 23: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
