LINDA ELAINE STEINERT

Dodge City - Linda Elaine Steinert, 64, died December 24, 2013 at her daughter's home in Dodge City. She was born on September 15, 1949 in Dodge City, the daughter of Raymond and Althea (Odle) Perkins.

Linda graduated from Ford High School. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, gardening, and playing bingo. Linda also enjoyed spending time with her baby dog, Allie.

She was a member of the Women's Moose and Wilroads Gardens Christian Church both of Dodge City.

Linda is survived by one daughter, Lacy Glaze and husband, Randy of Dodge City; one son, Layne Steinert of Dodge City; one sister, Lucia Shean and husband Keith of Dodge City; two brothers, Raynel Perkins of Chandler, OK and Royle Perkins of Olathe; step granddaughter, Cassi Glaze; special friend, Larry Wilson; a very special angel, Mikala Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. with Mr. Jeff Hiers presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from Noon to 6:00 P.M. Memorials are suggested to Linda Perkins Steinert Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
