Lois L. Behee, 78, died Monday, January 26, 2009 at Presbyterian Manor of the Plains at Dodge City. She was born on May 7, 1930 at Kingsdown the daughter of William and Gladys (Pierson) Merrill.

She married James Behee on August 26, 1947 at Dodge City, he preceded her in death on November 14, 1995. She was the co-owner and bookeeper for Behee Auto Repair. Mrs. Behee enjoyed playing her organ and working in her flower beds.



Survivors include two sons Guy Behee of Dodge City, and Marty Behee of Mullinville,one daughter Donetta Anderson of Mannford, Oklahoma, and 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, and 2 brothers.

Graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 2:00 PM with pastor Kirk Larson presiding. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Thursday, January 29, 2009 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorials can be made to the donors choice in care of the funeral home
