Cimarron - Lorraine M. Najera, 63, died December 15, 2019 at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City.  She was born on January 20, 1956 in Los Angeles, California; the daughter of Joe T. Garcia and Patsy Fierro.

Lorraine grew up in Gallup, New Mexico. On September 29, 1982, she married Isabel Najera. Together they raised two children, Lenny and Danielle.

Family was the most important to Lorraine. She especially loved spending time with her five grandsons.

Lorraine is survived by her husband, Isabel Najera of Cimarron; son, Lenny Garcia and wife Rosie of Wichita; daughter, Danielle Najera and fiancé Lance Rouse of Dodge City; five grandsons, Christian Garcia, Diego Garcia, Noah Garcia, Xzavier Garcia, and Dominick Washington; mother and step father, Patsy and Ray Fierro; and four siblings, Tyna Garcia, Joe "Thronts" Garcia, Eloisa Garcia, and Fred Diaz. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe T. Garcia.

Memorial service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel in Dodge City on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Wesley Schawe presiding.  There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.  Memorials are suggested to the Lorraine Najera Memorial Fund to be designated by the family at a later date.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
