Obituary

Cimarron - Louis Wayne Love, 77, died October 18, 2022 at the Shepard's Center, Cimarron, Kansas.  He was born on June 23, 1945 in St. John, Kansas, the son of Carl Wayne and Norma Lee (Keeler) Love.

Louis obtained an associate's degree and worked as a back shop foreman for the Daily Globe. He was married to Claudia Irene Morrow. Together they had two children.

He was a member of Friends Church in Liberal, Kansas. Louis enjoyed hunting, fishing, and reading. He was an avid K-State fan. Louis loved Santa Claus and was often mistaken for Santa by many children.

He is survived by his loving wife; two children, April Kirkby (Jason) of Cimarron, KS and William Love (Laurie) of Lawrence, KS; ten grandchildren, Ryan Love (Breanne), Jeremiah Neuman (Tara), Rand Love, Cherish Lamgo (J.B.), Elizabeth Artis (Riley), Amanda Love, Andrew Neuman, Emily Neuman, Rollin Love, and Blake Neuman; six great- grandchildren, Bradley Love, Morgan Davenport, Ronin Artis, Weston Love, Ole Lamgo, and Baby Lamgo on the way; and a sister, Marsha Voelker. He is preceded in death by his parents.

The family encourages everyone attending to wear their K-State or purple attire to honor Louis.

Funeral service will be held at Friends Church in Liberal, Kansas on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Nagell presiding.  There is no burial at this time.  No visitation as cremation will take place. Memorials are suggested to The Michael J.
