Louise spent most of her life on their family farm, south of Dodge City. During that time, she was very active in helping to run a large farm and ranch that included a cattle feed yard and a breeding operation for hogs. All while teaching Sunday school and raising her family. Her greatest joy was her family. She did her best to never miss a ballgame, program, or even an opera. She and Dean enjoyed square dancing and were involved in various clubs in the area.
