Obituary

Dodge City - Louise was born July 5, 1937, the daughter of Conrad and Eva Shiller in Pratt. She died on February 28, 2024 at her home in Dodge City, reaching the age of 86 years.

Louise graduated from Pratt High School. Her love for her God, Jehovah, motivated her to dedicate her life to Him and symbolize that by water baptism in 1952. In 1958, Louise married Norman Severn Lowe. In 1959, they had their first child Mike. The family lived in Hutchinson until 1962 before moving to Dodge City.  It was there, in 1964, they had their second child, Greg.

Their reason for moving to Dodge City was because they, as Jehovah's Witnesses, moved to where there was a greater need for proclaimers of God's Kingdom. Preaching the good news of God's Kingdom was a central part of her life. She would spend hundreds of hours every year in this work. The motivation for her was her love of Jehovah and of neighbor.

She loved her family greatly. Because of her love of her spiritual family, she was regarded as a beloved sister. Many regarded her as a spiritual mother. Louise made many friends working in the construction and remodeling of Kingdom Halls throughout the state. This work too was because of the self sacrificing spirit she displayed.

She is survived by her son Greg, and wife Brigitte; and daughter-in-law, Igri. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman; her son, Mike; her parents, Conrad and Eva; a brother Alvin; and a sister, Laree.
