Ford - Lucinda A. Jensen, 60, died April 8, 2015 at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City. She was born on March 30, 1955 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Charles R. and Ruth E. (Nichols) McCoy.

Lucinda grew up in Elizabeth, Colorado where she graduated from Elizabeth High School. She moved to Ford in 1997. Lucinda earned her CNA certification and she worked as a CNA in Johnson and also at Manor of the Plains in Dodge City. Some of the activities Lucinda enjoyed were crafting, sewing, and crocheting.

Lucinda is survived by her husband, Robert Vela of Ford; two daughters, Anita Lopez and Catherine Vu both of Dodge City; three sisters, Frances Elizabeth Feezel of Martinsville, Illinois, Susan Folkert of Bennett, Colorado, and Sandra Wenzlaff of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one brother, Robert A McCoy of Strasburg, Colorado; and four grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.
