Spearville - Marcelline MaryAnn (Ricke) Simon, 91, passed away on July 3, 2024. She was born on April 30, 1933, in Medicine Lodge, KS. Marcelline was born to Benedict and Mary Ann Rausch and was the youngest of eight children.

Marcy married Donald Simon on May 8, 1951, in Sharon, KS and raised their six children in Spearville. Marcy and Don retired in Harlingen, TX and later in Bristow, OK. She was a waitress and drove a school bus for Dodge City Unified School District. She enjoyed her grandchildren, watching baseball, tending to her flowers, and playing pickle ball.

Marcelline joins her husband, Donald; daughter, Connie Jo; and son, Jim in heaven. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Peggy (Fred) Bitler of Bennington, KS, Patti Sharber of Surprise, AZ, Donita (Jim) Heeke of Dodge City, KS; and son, Bob (Joanna) Simon of Bristow, OK; one granddaughter, Tie Sharber; and seven grandsons, Jason Cunningham, Kyle Simon, Jared Simon, Travis Heeke, Troy Heeke, Jeremy Heeke, and Bo Sharber; she also had 11 great grandchildren!
