Dodge City - Marclean Briney Sanders, 86, passed away on November 19, 2024 at SunPorch, Dodge City.  She was born on August 23, 1938 in Oden, Arkansas; the daughter of Owen and Florene Singleton.

She was married to Billy Briney who preceded her in death in 1993. She later married Tom Sanders who also preceded her in death. Marclean was a homemaker the first part of her life before working as an office secretary at the Dodge City Church of the Nazarene, where she was a member. She was very active in the church. She loved to sew, play piano, visit with friends, and cook.

She is survived by her children, Rick Briney (Yvonne) of Lacrosse, and Debbie Burnett (Greg) of Dodge City; 11 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Jerry Singleton (Wanda), and Teressa Newlin (Chris); a son-in-law, Darreld Ellis; a daughter-in-law, Dawn Briney; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Marilyn Ellis and Phillip Briney; and two grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at Dodge City Church of the Nazarene on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM with Mr. Jeff Hiers presiding.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City.  Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Dodge City on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 5-7 PM.  Memorials are suggested to Dodge City Church of the Nazarene in care of the funeral home.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
