Dodge City - Marcos Isaac De La Rosa, 35, died March 13, 2023 in El Dorado, Kansas. He was born on June 3, 1987 in Garden City, Kansas, the son of Silvino and Elvira (Chaparro) De La Rosa.

Marcos was raised in Dodge City, Kansas graduating from Dodge City High School in 2005. He then went to work as a truck driver which led him to starting his own business as MID Trucking, hauling loads throughout the country. He was always entrepreneur minded with the intention to help more people. He'd take the clothes off his back and food off his table to help anyone in need. Marcos enjoyed horses and spending time with his family. He was always full of energy and ready to make you smile. He was the life of the party yet taking care of his family and everyone close to him was always the most important to him.

Marcos is survived by his two children, Ariana Beatriz and Aidan Isaac De La Rosa and their mother, Jacqueline of Dodge City; his parents, Silvino and Elvira De La Rosa of Dodge City; one sister, Violeta De La Rosa of San Antonio, Texas one brother, Vino De La Rosa of Dodge City; his wife, Blanca Lupercio of Montezuma; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral mass will be held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Dodge City on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 2:00PM to 7:00PM with a vigil service to begin at 7:00PM.
