Dodge City - Margaret Ann Beatriz, 65, died August 27, 2017 in Dodge City, Kansas.  She was born on May 2, 1952 in Clayton, New Mexico, the daughter of Eufracio and Lupe (Lopez) Gonzalez.

Margaret married Benjamin Beatriz on May 12, 1982 in Dodge City. She was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dodge City.

Margaret is survived by two sons, Desi (Maggie) Garcia, Shawnee Mission and Jon (Janessa) Garcia, Van Buren, Arkansas; a daughter Monica (Frankie) Duran, Dodge City; and 13 grandchildren, Blanca Garcia, Jazmyn Garcia, Xavier Garcia, Fabian Garcia, Xariah Garcia, Margarita Beatriz, Jonathan Garcia, Guadalupe Navarrete, Isabella Garcia, Jayla Garcia, Benjamin Navarrete, Jesenya Garcia and Jameson Garcia. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Benjamin.

Funeral service will be held at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Wesley Schawe presiding.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City.  Vigil service will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel in Dodge City on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 7:30 PM.
