Margaret Louise Crisp, 82, died April 29, 2011 at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City. She was born on January 28, 1929 at Needles, California the daughter of Arthur and Lillie (Beavers) Miller.

Margaret was raised in Hutchinson and graduated from Hutchinson High School. On October 21, 1947 she married Earl D. Crisp in Hutchinson. He preceded her in death on January 10, 2005. They lived in Holly, Colorado, Lewis, Lindsborg, and Hutchinson before moving to Dodge City in 1977. Mrs. Crisp was an administrative receptionist for U.S.D. #443 Dodge City for the last four years.

Margaret was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dodge City.

Margaret is survived by her son, Craig Crisp of Dodge City; one daughter, Carla Kay Ray of Wichita; one brother, Jack Miller of Montezuma; two sisters, Ruth Wilcoxen of Hutchinson and Shirley Broegman of Milford, Michigan; and two grandchildren, Melanie Ray and Bryan Ray of Wichita.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Dr. Gary Winget presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Monday, May 2, 2011 from 12:00 - 8:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church of Dodge City in care of the funeral home.
