Margaret Ann (Shultz) Ferguson, 67, died Friday, September 10, 2010 at her residence in Dodge City. She was born on February 18, 1943 at Lock Haven, PA the daughter of Clay Lester and Betty (Baney) Shultz.

Margaret spent her early years in Pennsylvania, and in the early 1960's she moved to Dodge City. She married Boyd Murphy. They later divorced. She work for many years as a bartender, waitress, and cook for several area restaurants. Later she worked for Walmart as a greeter.

Survivors include three sons, David Shultz and wife Tammy of Lock Haven, PA., Gary Murphy of Hays, and Boyd Lee Murphy and wife Marney of Bakersfield, CA; two daughters, Deborah Foster and husband Shea and Shelly Martinez and husband Kenny both of Dodge City; her mother, Betty Shultz of Lock Haven, PA; one sister, Mary Lou Quiggle of Mill Hall, PA; 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Lynn Murphy.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Vernon Bogart presiding. Burial will follow at Greencrest Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Monday, September 13, 2010 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society
