Dodge City - Margaret Yvonne Hendrix, 65, died July 26, 2025 in Delta, Colorado.  She was born on February 9, 1960 in Newfoundland, Canada, the daughter of Jack and Barbara (Warren) Hendrix.

Margaret's early years were spent at various military bases throughout the world. The family eventually returned to the United States and settled in Abilene, Texas.  Following high school in San Antonio, Texas, she attended Texas A&M and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences.  Margaret went on to further her education at the University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveston and became a licensed Physical Therapist.

Margaret moved to Dodge City where she worked as a physical therapist.  She was very active in the First United Methodist Church in Dodge City.  Margaret loved her three boys, Kyle, Kevin, and Keith and enjoyed spending time with them.  She also loved animals.

She is survived by two sons, Kyle of Manhattan, Kansas and Keith of Nacogdoches, Texas; a brother, James Hendrix; and a sister, Elizabeth Ming.  Margaret is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Kevin.

Memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church, Dodge City on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 11:00 AM. A private burial be at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City.  There is no visitation as cremation has taken place.
