Obituary
Dodge City - Maria Del Carman Castillo, 68, died February 23, 2015 at her home in Dodge City. She was born on February 25, 1946 at Jalpa, Jalisco, Mexico, the daughter of Manuel and Maria De Jesus Castillo (Diaz) .
She enjoyed traveling and singing and spending time with her family.
She was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe of Dodge City.
She is survived by four sons Miguel Serrano of California; Pedro Serrano of Ashland, Nebraska; Jose Serrano of Dodge City and Hugo Davila of Dodge City; three daughters Martha Elena Castillo of Dodge City; Maria De Jesus Garcia of Dodge City and Irma Serrano of Dodge City. She is also survived by 20 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter Ana Rosa Serrano Castillo.
Funeral Mass will be held at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Wesley Schawe presiding. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A Vigil service will be held at 7:30 PM on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Swaim Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Maria Del Carman Castillo Diaz in care of the funeral home.
