Dodge City - Maria Julianne "Julie" Schneider, 54, died March 19, 2012 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City, Kansas. She was born on December 18, 1957 at Roy, New MexicoM the daughter of Fredrick Esquibel and Mary Elizabeth (Wilhelm) .

She worked as the manager of the Comfort Inn in Dodge City. Julie loved reading and working on craft projects in her spare time. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially having breakfast on Saturday mornings at Cup of Jones.

She is survived by three sons Christopher Esquibel and wife Stephanie of Montrose, Colorado; Andrew Schneider and wife Callie of Dodge City; Brandon Schneider of Montrose, Colorado, one daughter Shaylene Schneider of Dodge City. She is also survived by two sisters Angel Stout of Naturita, Colorado; Cecila Schraeder of Ash Grove, Missouri; one brother Steven Esquibel of Firestone, Colorado, and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son and one sister.

Memorial service will be held at Wilroads Gardens Christian Church on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 4:00 PM with Mr. Jeff Hiers presiding. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Maria Julie Schneider Memorial fund in care of the funeral home.
