Dodge City - Maria "Tere" Perez de Jorge, 62, died November 25, 2019 at Phoenix Hospice of Wichita.  She was born on November 6, 1957 at Etzaltán, Jalisco, Mexico the daughter of Fidel Perez-Parades and Amparo Espinoza-Gonzales.

Maria was a high school graduate at Etzaltan, Jalisco, Mexico and after graduating she worked as a secretary. On October 15, 1989 she married Isidro Jorge-Ramos. They lived in California where she raised her family and still worked part-time to help support her family. In 2004 they moved to Dodge City where she went to work for National Beef in Fabrication. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and listening to music.

She was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dodge City, where she was very involved and was active with Al-Anon of Dodge City for over ten years.

Maria is survived by her husband, Isidro Jorge-Ramos of Dodge City; three sons, Isidro Jorge, Jr., Ivan Jorge, and Ismael Jorge all of Dodge City; a daughter, Amparo Jorge-Perez of Dodge City; a grandson, Mason Alexander Fox; and eight sisters and three brothers.

Vigil service will be held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at the Cathedral on Saturday November 30, 2019 at 9:30 AM.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City.  Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Friday November 29, 2019 from Noon to 5:00 PM.
