Cimarron - Marilyn K. Phillips, 63, died June 14, 2019 at The Shepherd's Center in Cimarron. She was born on October 26, 1955 in Dodge City, the daughter of Cleo and Anna Loraine (Dunn) Phillips.
Marilyn spent her childhood in Dodge City. She attended Richland Valley School in rural Ford County. Marilyn later moved to Montezuma with her parents. She moved to The Shepherd's Center in August of 2017. Marilyn worked at Arrowhead West. She loved music, puzzles, and watching her favorite television programs. Marilyn had a smile that could light up the room.
She is survived by a sister, Juanita Boatright of Pembroke, Georgia; three brothers, Ed Phillips and Jim Phillips both of Dodge City and Rick Phillips of Keota, Oklahoma; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Carol Thomson and Diana Sidebottom; and two brothers, Harold and Don Phillips.
Graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Johnson presiding. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Cimarron on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from noon to 8:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of the funeral home.
