Dodge City – Martha J. Mink, 77, died December 26, 2023 at Reflection Living Center in Dodge City. She was born on June 25, 1946 at Ashland, Kansas the daughter of Ivan and Viola (Mull) Hulstine.

She married Steve Mink on June 15, 1985 in Ashland, Kansas, he survives. Martha worked as a school teacher for many years before retiring. She enjoyed doing cross stitch, crafts, canning, gardening and baking with her grandchildren. Mrs. Mink also enjoyed going to her Bible study group at the church and working with the Ford County Extension Group.

She was a member of the First Christian Church, Christian Women's Club, Ford County Extension Group and the Gideon's Auxiliary all of Dodge City.

She is survived by her husband Steve of the home; one stepson Scott Mink and wife Tammie of Dodge City;  one stepdaughter Sandra Overstreet and husband Alan of Anderson, Indiana; three sisters Margaret Finkbeiner of Russell; Patricia Hulstine of Hays; Laticia Koehn of Caldwell; two brothers Eugene Hulstine and wife Peggy of Salina and Leland Hulstine of Kenneth City, Florida. She is also survived by six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at First Christian Church on Wednesday January 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM with Dusty Cookson presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
