Obituary
Dodge City - Mary Juanita Hurley, 63, died July 24, 2014 at her residence. She was born on July 10, 1951 at Dodge City, KS the daughter of Jesus and Betty (Soza) Martinez.
She worked as a meter reader for Victory Electric for over 37 years before retiring in January of 2014.
She is survived by her mother Betty Martinez of Dodge City; one sister Esther Bos and husband Tom of Dodge City; two brothers Mark Martinez and wife Rita of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Jesse Martinez of Topeka.
She was preceded in death by her father Jesus Q. Martinez
Memorial service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Terrance Klein presiding. Inurnment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the Mary Juanita Hurley Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
