SPEARVILLE - Mary Christina Imel, 69, died July 5, 2013 at Harry Hynes Hospice, Wichita. She was born on June 26, 1944 at Dodge City, the daughter of Richard C. and MaryErin (Brody) Imel.
Chrissy loved western movies, crossword puzzles, and bowling.
Chrissy is survived by her father Richard C. Imel of Dodge City; a sister Jeani Perkins and husband Jim of Dodge City; nieces and nephews, John Imel and wife Jenny of Spokane, Washington, Brett Perkins and wife Robin of Wamego, Brandon Perkins and companion Abbie Brown of Olathe, and Dustin Imel and wife Lacey of Rocky Comfort, Missouri; great nieces and nephews, Jessica, Jarod, Joshua Imel, Elisabeth, Emily, and Ben Eli Perkins, and Trenton and Braydon Imel. She was preceded in death by her mother MaryErin Imel and brother Rick Imel.
Graveside service will be held at St. John's Cemetery on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ted Skalsky presiding. Memorials are suggested to St. John's Cemetery Fund in care of the funeral home.
