Cimarron - Mary W. Jobe, 88, died December 2, 2012 at The Shepherd's Center, Cimarron. She was born on July 29, 1924 at Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Thomas and Wanda (Reeves) Meikle.

Mrs. Jobe was a graduate of Wyandotte High School. She attended nursing classes at Kansas City Kansas Community College. She worked as a licensed practical nurse for many years. She resided in Branson, Missouri for a few years before moving to Dodge City. She was a resident of Cimarron at the time of her death. She married Earnest Dale Jobe.

Survivors include one son, Tom and wife Connie Jobe, Dodge City; one daughter, Mary Ellen Jobe, Cabot, Arkansas; one granddaughter Susan and husband Brian Severin, Emporia; two grandsons, John A. Jobe, Manhattan, Kansas; Richard Velazquez, Cabot, Arkansas; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, John L. Jobe, and one sister Pauline Schmoldt.

Inurnment will be at a later time at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, Kansas. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the Mary W.
