Dodge City - Mary Elsie Williams, 78, passed away on December 8, 2024 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.  She was born on October 2, 1946 in Moultrie, Georgia the daughter of Elzie Abraham and Mary Ellen (Castleberry) Williams.

She was very funny. She loved crosswords and playing cards including Rummy. She enjoyed cooking and dancing. Mary was in love with the rifle man. Most of all she loved her grandbabies and bonus grandbabies the same.

She is survived by her children, Paula McMurphy, Patrick McMurphy, and Ellen McCracken; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; siblings, Ervin, Paul, Martha, Gloria, and Angie; as well as many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Susan Davis and June McMurphy; siblings, Barbara and Jimmy; and three great grandchildren, Lyle Lloyd, Mariah and Jayla.
