Obituary
Matthew "Matt" J. Klein, 31, died June 2, 2011 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born on May 5, 1980 at Guymon, OK the son of John and Carol (Torrey) Klein.
Matt grew up in Dodge City and graduated from Dodge City High School. He attended the University of Kansas after graduation. For the last seven years he lived in Kansas City, Missouri and pursued his love of music. He also worked as a bar tender in Kansas City area.
He is survived by his mother Carol Klein of Dodge City; one sister Danni Parrish and husband Michael of Shawnee,KS; grandmother Mary Torrey of Dodge City; and his father John Klein of Kansas City,KS.
Matt was preceded in death by his grandfather Douglas Torrey and his grandparents Vida and Rex Klein.
Graveside service will be held at Greencrest Cemetery on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 10:00 AM . There will be no public visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the Dodge City Humane Society or Friendship Feast in care of the funeral home.
