Dodge City - Michael Ray Eck,59 , died April 7, 2014 in Dodge City, Kansas. He was born on July 11, 1954 at Harper, Kansas the son of Levi and Jane Eck.

He enjoyed going to the Inn Pancake House and having coffee with friends as well as going to the Cigarette Outlet and visiting with the staff. He worked for 10 years as a machinist for Curtis Machine, and was working for Crustbuster Speedking at the time of his passing.

Michael is survived by his wife Carol Eck, Dodge City; two daughters, Tammy Jean Leckner and husband Martine Castanon of Dodge City, and Laurie Lynne Coca and Frank of Salina; and a son Ray Dean Eck of Wichita; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Graveside service will be held at Cairo Cemetery on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from Noon to 8:00 P.M.. Memorials are suggested to Michael Ray Eck Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
