Ingalls - Michael Volker, 60, died August 3, 2016 at his residence in Ingalls. He was born on December 16, 1955 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the son of William Clifford and Marjorie Ruth (Bier) Volker.

Michael grew up in New Brunswick where he became an arborist. He later moved to Colorado where he continued to work as an arborist. Michael then moved to Ingalls where he worked as a cowboy as various feedlots in the area. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially bow hunting. Michael looked forward to his godsons coming every year to hunt pheasant and quail with him.

Michael is survived by a sister Ruth Ann O'Brien of Hightstown, New Jersey; two half brothers, Wanie and Jeff Volker; and two godsons, Travis and Tyler Ireland both of Denver. He is preceded in death by his parents.
