Soledad Miguel Animas Romero, 59, died Saturday, March 21, 2009 in Wichita. He was born on April 15, 1949 in Mexico, the son of Cayetano Animas and Maria Trinidad Romero.

Miguel worked in Garden City for IBP before moving to Dodge City. He then worked at both Cargill and Broce in Dodge City.

Survivors include his wife, Irma Vasquez of Dodge City; two sons, Miguel Animas Vasques and Jose Paul Animas Vasques both of Mexico; two daughters, Leticia Animas Vasques of Dodge City, and Adelaida Animas Vasques of Mexico. He was preceded in death by parents.

Memorial service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Dodge City on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Mr. Felix Johnson presiding. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City, on Monday, March 30, 2009 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Cremation will follow visitation. Inurnment will be at a later date in Mexico.
