Pratt – Nancy Lee  Bailey, 72, died November 28, 2017 at Hilltop Manor Nursing Home in Cunningham, Kansas.  She was born on September 27, 1945 at Coshocton, Ohio the daughter of Willis James and Irene Nellie (Patterson) Markley.

She married Lyle Bailey on March 10, 2010 in Dodge City, he survives. She served her country in the U.S. Navy from September 1963 until December of 1964 as a yeoman. Mrs. Bailey also worked as a Quality Control Inspector on nuclear equipment for Command Sciences Company. She enjoyed reading western books and loved to go camping in the mountains in her spare time. She was a very patriotic person.

She was a member of the Church of Christ of Dodge City and Pratt.

She is survived by her husband Lyle Bailey of the home; one daughter Tanya Griffey of Washington state; two sons Shawn Griffey and wife Kris of Garden City, Kansas; Randy Griffey and wife Shirley of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, December 4, 2017 at the Church of Christ in Pratt, Kansas. Graveside service with full military rites will be held at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery at Ft. Dodge on Monday December 4, 2017 at 1:30 PM with Rev. John Hamm presiding. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Sunday, December 3, 2017  from 12:00 to 6:00 PM.
