Dodge City – Nancy Ann  Blanchett, died April 9, 2021 at Dove Estates Senior Living in Goddard, Kansas. She was born on January 13, 1937 at Kingman, Kansas the daughter of Lloyd and Lois (David) Milford.

She married Jack Blanchett on May 29, 1955 in Dodge City, he preceded her in death on February 2, 2020. Mrs. Blanchett enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, quilting and restoring furniture in her spare time. She was a very loving care giver taking care of her daughter Renata until her passing and then caring for her husband Jack until his passing. Mrs. Blanchett took in several area children even caring for them as if they where her own children.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Dodge City, PEO, Bas Bleu Study Club and Monday Bridge Club.

She is survived by her daughter Cindy Brand and husband Bill of Colwich; two brothers David Milford of Deland, Florida; Michael Milford of St. George, Utah; two sisters Rose English of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Kathy Harris of Garden City. She is also survived by six grandchildren Corey Blanchett, Ryan Blanchett, Jackie Dugan, Jake Brand, Luke Brand, Mac Brand, one great grandchild Harley Blanchett and one daughter-in-law Bonnie Simmons and husband Jim of Wichita.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Chuck Blanchett, one daughter Renata Blanchett,  and one great granddaughter Addison Dugan.

Funeral service will be held at First Christian Church on Friday April 16, 2021 at 10:00 AM with Dusty Cookson presiding.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
