Bentonville, Arkansas - Nancy Kathryne (Schweitzer) Hutton, 86, died May 23, 2020 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born on January 26, 1934 in Dodge City, the youngest of 4 children born to Ezra and Virginia (McComas) Schweitzer.

Nancy attended schools in Dodge City and was active in several organizations including band and graduated from Dodge City Senior High. Nancy married Alva Lee Hutton (Al), her high school sweetheart, in the summer after graduation in 1952. They made their lives in Dodge City where they raised 4 sons, were active in the community, and enjoyed attending the many school activities their sons were involved in.

Nancy worked at Crust Buster Speed King for over 40 years in the Accounting Office and was an active member of the First United Methodist Church. She loved to spend time with friends and family and enjoyed decorating and playing cards.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Al in 1987; her oldest brother, Paul Schweitzer in 1988; and her older sister, Ladine (Schweitzer) Collins in 2000. She is survived by her brother, Vern Schweitzer of Dodge City; and her four children, Tarry Hutton of The Woodland, Texas, Brett Hutton of Rogers, Arkansas, Troy Hutton of Hutchinson, and Chris Hutton of Olathe; as well as eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City from noon to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 28, 2020. A private family graveside service will be held at the Scroggins Mausoleum.
