Neil Rumford, 63, passed away on September 3, 2026, at his home in Dodge City, Kansas. Neil was born on January 2, 1963 in Dodge City, KS, to Orland Rumford and Lula (Hendrickson) Rumford.

Neil married Leona Wetter on July 3, 1993 in Dodge City, Kansas, she survives. Neil loved feeding the birds, playing card games as well as taking road trips, especially on his motorcycle to the mountains.

Neil is survived by wife, Leona Rumford of the home, one son Scott Rumford and significant other Sabrina of Dodge City; and one daughter Megan Canfield of Roanoke, Virginia, one sister Cynthia Lambert of Hays as well as many sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Neil is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, one brother Dennis Rumford and one nephew Kyle Lambert.

Memorial service will be held on September 11, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Swaim Funeral Chapel. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
